Health and Body Upkeep: skills checklist
Men visit doctors less often than anyone else and tend to wait longer when something feels wrong. Part of that is not knowing what checkups are due, and part is not knowing how to describe a symptom once you are in the room. This category is about the upkeep side of health: the routines and checks that catch problems early and keep you strong.
You will find a checkup schedule by age based on the national preventive services task force recommendations, how to do a testicular self-check and a skin check, how to take your blood pressure at home properly, and how to prepare for a doctor's appointment so the real worry gets said. On the strength side there is a simple three-day routine and the form cues for squats and deadlifts. The rest covers sleep, drinking sensibly and the signs of depression that men often miss.
None of these pages can tell you what is wrong. They explain what to watch for and when to see a clinician, with no supplements, no medication advice and no doses. The mental health pages carry the 988 crisis line.
