Why there is no box for insurance policy numbers

A printed card lives on a fridge or in a glovebox, where anyone can read it, and a card in a stolen car hands over the policy number with it. Your insurer's app or the card they mail you is the safer place for policy details, so this card deliberately leaves them out. Add the insurer's claims phone line as a contact if you want it here.
